Remain Strong! A New Wellness Publication.
Join us on the journey towards a happier and healthier life.
Last year Donetta and I started laying the groundwork for a new business idea called Remain Strong. We weren’t exactly sure what we would do with this venture but we definitely knew it would focus on our passion for overall well-being.
With the insane challenges facing our nation like the obesity epidemic, opioid addictions and deaths, a mental health crisis, and the growing trend of hatred in America, it breaks our hearts to see what this great country has become. It certainly doesn’t have to be this way!
For several months we discussed the potential opportunities, along with what we believed could make a positive impact in the lives of the people around us. Our motivation would be serving a higher purpose and not be centered on profits. The objective needed to be about a calling and not just starting another company.
A matter of life or death.
The adversities we face as humans can be overwhelming but with the right motivation and support, we can overcome the greatest of challenges. With the proper resources we can enjoy happier and healthier lives.
We personally know that these things can make a difference between success and failure .. and in extreme circumstances even life and death.
As we’ve invested the last several years into our own wellness efforts with incredible and positive results, it’s clear that even with all the technology and education at our disposal, there’s simply not enough help. People are fighting difficult battles every single day and they need support.
And they must have a reminder not to give up regardless of how bad it might be.
A calling we must serve.
There’s no doubt we are called to do something and I’m certain that our efforts will save lives. The vision I personally received is undeniable and Donetta has her own reason to be fired up. The only question we had to answer was whether we were willing to make the sacrifice to answer the call.
When you see people you love struggle through cancer, fat shaming, racism, chronic pain, PTSD, or suicidal tendencies, it changes you from the inside out. And it’s even more difficult when you’ve experienced it yourself.
So doing anything to help others becomes less of a “sacrifice” and more of a commitment to serve no matter what the cost. It’s the same type of calling I answered in the military and one I would do again because people are worth it.
Even if our little business idea fails, we’d rather try and fail than to not try at all.
A wellness brand and publication.
After all of the potential ideas had been exhausted (and there were many) we decided that Remain Strong should launch as an online publication dedicated to wellness. But long term we hope for it to be so much more than that!
Our goal is to help you fortify your mind, body, and spirit.
The best way we can do this right now is through empowering content: articles, podcasting, text messages, and videos. We’ll also create products to help encourage and motivate.
The vision is big and we’re excited as ever. Yet we can also use your help to make it all a reality and save lives.
Subscribe today and support the mission.
Remain Strong is supported solely by our readers and community. You can get a free subscription that provides limited content, but a paid subscription unlocks access to everything, including the option to subscribe to weekly text messages for encouragement.
Free = Limited content
Paid ($5 per month) = Exclusive content PLUS encouraging text messages you can opt into
For the cost of only one beer or latte per month, you’ll be getting awesome, life changing resources AND help others as well. Isn’t that worth the investment?
And if you can’t afford it right now but really want to have access, please send us a message and we’ll gift you a year subscription. We don’t want anyone to miss out because of money.
It takes a LOT of work to do what we do and we don’t want to sell ads or lower our standards so your support is much appreciated. Together we will #RemainStrong!
Thank you!!
