I love my country, and I took an oath to defend it against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Yet I never expected history would repeat itself. Not here, at least. Nor could I have predicted that one day, the possibility of war would again be fought amongst ourselves and that we'd be such a divided nation, filled with such hate and anger.

But this is more than the ongoing battles of the political climate and government-sanctioned violence towards the people who call America home. It's bigger than that.

For far too long, the good people of this nation have been largely unprepared for what has happened and will continue to happen, and our complacency and lackadaisical attitude have finally caught up to us. In short, it is often our fault that we are now experiencing hardships. We should've known better and been ready.

I have faced life-changing circumstances, natural disasters, and near-death experiences on numerous occasions, and it is always a reminder that we are not fully in control of what happens to us, but with the proper training and readiness, we have a greater chance of surviving whatever adversity we will face. That is why REMAIN STRONG exists.

My passion is seeing you be prepared and ready.

While there is never any guarantee in dangerous situations, not having any basic skills, knowledge, resources, or support almost certainly guarantees failure. Remember, hope is not a reliable strategy! Not to mention, when you have gained the ability and confidence to overcome the challenge in front of you, the odds will lean in your favor.

Isn't it better to have a fighting chance than none at all?

While the current look of REMAIN STRONG today appears to be motivational style products, this is not the larger vision. Rather, my goal is to build a community and life-changing products you can depend on, including professional advice and education that can save your ass when the shit hits the fan. Because it will.

What you see is just the beginning of something new that will help you and the people you care about in a meaningful way. It's not perfect, and it's not complete, but I cannot continue to watch good Americans suffer or endure those hardships alone. Now is the time to get going and get involved.
